The New Jersey Devils took home the win in a thrilling matchup against the Florida Panthers on Monday night. The Devils, who were coming off a 9-2 loss to the Philadelphia Flyers, put up a great performance against the Panthers.

The game started off with Devils' forward Nico Hischier scoring on a breakaway seven minutes into the game. The Devils then took a 2-0 lead on a Blake Coleman goal later in the period.

The Panthers came out strong in the second period, scoring twice in less than five minutes to tie the game. However, the Devils answered back with a Miles Wood goal to take a 3-2 lead into the third period.

The third period saw the Devils hold on for a 4-2 win, thanks to goals from Pavel Zacha and Jesper Bratt. The Devils were able to hold on despite a late push from the Panthers, who pulled their goalie in the final minute in an effort to tie the game.
